Is this the right class for me?
What is Part 141?
Part 141 is an FAA-approved flight training program that follows a structured syllabus and requires a minimum number of ground and flight training hours. It is designed for a more regimented learning experience and is often preferred by students seeking a faster-paced and highly organized training environment.
Who is eligible?
Our Private Pilot Ground School is open to anyone who is 16 years of age or older and has a passion for aviation. Whether you're a high school student, a college student, or an adult seeking to explore the world of aviation, our comprehensive course offers the perfect starting point for your journey. No prior aviation experience is required – all you need is a curiosity for learning and a desire to take to the skies!
Our Instrument Pilot Ground School is open to anyone who holds an FAA Private Pilots License.
Do I have to participate in flight training?
No, it's not required to engage in flight training while you are enrolled in either of our Pilot Ground Schools. We've designed these course to be highly flexible to accommodate the varied schedules and needs of our students. You can choose to take it concurrently with flight training if that suits your plans, or you can complete it as a standalone course. This allows you to focus on mastering the theoretical knowledge first, which can then be applied in a practical context during your flight training.
What happens if I miss a class?
We understand that sometimes things come up. As a Part 141 student, it's important to attend all classes to meet the completion requirements. If you miss a class, you can make it up with an instructor outside of regular class hours. Please note that there will be an additional cost for this. Just let us know and we'll help arrange it!
